Keyvan Aviation and GE Aerospace signed Product Update Service Agreement to enable KEYVAN Aviation to serve customers who fly with GE Aerospace’s Flight Management System with aeronautical and navigation database and GE Aerospace include Keyvan Aviation’s navigation database among the approved data providers.
Keyvan Aviation, the first and the only company in Turkey and the fourth in the world, that offers approved worldwide aeronautical and navigation database services, has signed an agreement with the General Electric (GE) Aerospace. With the agreement signed at the 13th Istanbul Airshow, Keyvan Aviation will offer the aeronautical and navigation database analyzed and developed in line with the local and National Technology Movement Strategy of presidency of the Turkey, to all airlines and operators equipping with GE Aerospace Flight Management system.
Keyvan Aviation, the first and only approved aeronautical and navigation database provider company in Turkey, has signed this collaboration agreement with General Electric (GE) Aerospace, which recently achieved a success story of delivering 400 million flight hours and 37 years of on time delivery of navigation database to the airlines globally. By this agreement, KEYVAN Aviation will follow the GE Aerospace data requirements and culture in providing highest quality and on time delivery to the customers.
As a part of signed Product Update Service Agreement, KEYVAN Aviation plan to offer Aeronautical and navigation database solution with worldwide data coverage to the potential customers, the database included with more than 26.000 airports, more than 33.000 Runways including with Civil, Private and Military category, globally, and millions row of data included with airways, navaids, waypoints and procedures related to airports, restrictive and prohibited zones, and ect. Data process and quality checks perform as per ED-76A (DO-200B) international standard and ED-77 (DO-201B) Data requirements, match with EU Regulation 2017/373 and under the EASA Type 1 DAT Provider Certificate. KEYVAN Aviation implemented Data Quality Requirements (DQR) and Aeronautical Information Processing Procedure to process the data and create the final ARINC 424 database, and all process audited and approved by European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Type 1 DAT Provider Certificate issued with Reference no. EASA.AOA.DAT.033. For each update and change, every effort is made to ensure the data passed our quality system and meet the needs of EU Regulation 2017/373 as well as RTCA DO-200 and EUROCAE ED-76, and final outcome containing the most up to date, complete and reliable information available as per states publications.
