ARINC 424 Navigation System, Data Base Standard, is an international standard file format for aircraft navigation data maintained by Airlines Electronic Engineering Committee and published by Aeronautical Radio, Inc. KEYVAN Aviation’s ARINC 424 training provides an understanding of the ARINC 424 standard database features, coding and implementation methods for each individual records and data content. This is included in Phase 1, which trains database coders for Level 1 data houses and basic data entry requirements. Phase 2 of this course is aimed at the flight procedure design or Flight Validation analyst to understand specifics of database coding, limitations and eventual issues with avionics systems and Type 2 DAT Providers and DQR expectations.
Course Objectives:
- Understand the purpose and significance of the ARINC 424 standard in aviation navigation.
- Analyze the structure and format of ARINC 424 data records.
- Interpret and process various data elements within the ARINC 424 navigation database.
- Explore the integration of ARINC 424 data in flight management systems (FMS) and avionics.
- Apply practical skills in working with ARINC 424 navigation data for flight planning and navigation.
